Reshaping the 12th grade requires that schools understand and appreciate seniors’ unique developmental issues and characteristics.

Seniors Are

  • In a transition mode that necessitates preparation for the next stage of life.
  • Capable people and an untapped resource, ready to make significant contributions to their school and community beyond.
  • In need of an infusion of new and relevant experiences beyond the classroom  walls.
  • Ready to apply what they have learned to the real world.
  • Eager to have a voice in what they learn
